Adding Some More Specific Symptoms To The List .......

In looking thru more information on fibromyalgia, here is another interesting list that breaks down the different symptoms into more specific categories. A person may have a few, or may have most all of them. For me, some of the symptoms have gradually built up over time. Medication and supplements can make life easier for those suffering, but there is no cure as we are well aware. As we know, one of the most difficult things about the disorder is that we cannot hardly make plans since we do not know how we will be feeling. Most people would never guess that we are the most disappointed of all that once again, our body has “pooped” out on us.

Here are the symptoms as outlined in this particular article:

  • Chronic muscle pain, muscle spasms or tightness

  • Moderate or severe fatigue and decreased energy

  • Insomnia or waking up feeling just as tired as when you went to sleep (ooooooohhhhh)

  • Stiffness upon waking or after staying in one position for too long

  • Difficulty remembering, concentrating, and performing simple mental tasks (“fibro fog”)

  • Abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, and constipation alternating with diarrhea (irritable bowel syndrome) Headaches

  • Sensitivity to one or more of the following: odors, noise, bright lights, medication, certain foods, and cold.

  • Feeling anxious or depressed

  • Numbness or tingling in face, arms, hands, legs, or feet

  • Increase in urinary urgency or frequency (irritable bladder) That is a hard one to know if you drink water all the time!

  • Reduced tolerance for exercise and muscle pain after exercise hmmmmmmm

  • A feeling of swelling (without actual swelling) in the hands and feet

Now, I can use the reduced tolerance for exercise as my excuse!!!!! Or that's it is just hard to get to get the next breath 1

Symptoms may vary during time of day, changes in weather, stress, depression, and hormonal fluctuations.

From Me to U!

God Bless You!
