New Year's Resolutions can be such a downer!

How about Anti Resolutions?
1)Instead of setting goals, perhaps try to add one thing to your repertoire of skills. I will try to read more.
2)Have intentions, even if they are as simple as I would like to get more restorative rest today.
3)Live in the present. One idea is to write down wins on colorful little notes and fill up a jar!
4)Try taking it one breath at a time, being mindful, and just living with intention. I may have more wins rather than the narrow focus on resolutions.
5)Softly encourage yourself! For instance, I am doing much better at prioritizing my feelings rather than others!
6)Make new priorities for the pets! I will try to walk our dog one more time per week!
7)Have a word or short phrase that I extrapolate out: How do I want that, for instance, to show up in my relationships? What do I want or need?
8)Tiny, tiny changes, rather than big resolutions that may flop! (especially when one deals with chronic illness, chronic pain, mental illness etc)
Take care and God Bless!
