For several centuries, muscle pain was known as rheumatism & then as muscular rheumatism. Cowers coined the term fibrositis. He noted that the symptoms grew worse when the barometric pressure lowered & rain was approaching. (Human weather detector, anyone?)
Dr. Katinka Van Der Mere notes that almost every fibromyalgia patient can tell when it is going to rain, as barometric pressure tends to make their symptoms more intense. But this symptom is still not well understood at all!
How about you? Do weather changes affect your pain lever?
