"This ole hip it ain't what it used to be,......ain't what ....."

I remember singing that song over and over again!!!! hmph

That is why we would not want to know the future!!!!! Speaking of the future and the present, I am feeling pretty sorry for myself. (using up that good ole negative energy!)But it is what it is.

Sally, you are allowing yourself to wallow in an anger stage of the grief cycle!

I feel very angry at myself for not taking better care of myself! I mean not taking better care of this body.

If I had not gained all that weight....!!! Even though medication had a lot to do with it. And the reality is that with all of the negative side affects of fibromyalgia, such as zippo energy, chronic fatigue ..... the reason makes no difference.

I believe that we just need to deal with today. That's plenty! And try to focus on the positives. (of course, we are talking about the positives of hip replacement!!!!!) Yeah, right!!!

But there is no telling how many people reading this may have already had to deal with these specific problems!? Have you had a knee, shoulder, hip replacement? What were your experiences? How did you deal with it?

My husband reminded me of how it was when his daddy had his knee replacement. Now those were the days of banging and clanging! ugh His daddy really never recovered or got anywhere near full motion in his new knee.

And my good news is that I have a fantastic doctor, Orthopedist, who performed my knee surgery. And I am good as new!!

Our minds are so powerful. We hear that all the time! Since I first started writing this particular bog, I already feel less discouraged!!! hmmm..... just an example of The Power of Positive Thinking by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale.

We hear it so much, "Just Live in the Moment!"

From Me to U!

God Bless!
