One of my main faults is procrastinating! And the older I get, the worse it becomes!
Knowing myself so well, depression has always been one of the main factors that cause me to procrastinate. It's the chicken or the egg debate!
Do I procrastinate, and then feel depressed? Or do I feel depressed and then procrastinate?! Who knows!!!!!! But the main point that I am making is that if we know ourselves well, and we know the games that we play with ourselves, it is easier to figure out solutions.
The solutions may not exactly be solutions, but they can at least decrease some of our negative self fulfilling prophecies.

Making the bed makes the whole room feel better plus when I make my bed it helps me get moving on other things I should be doing. When I don't make my bed I'm much more likely to stay in it & watch TV! Just don't let yourself get down on the days you don't make it. When you have chronic pain there are just going to be days where it's NOT going to get done! Give yourself a break from perfectionism & get the rest you need.
